A behind the scenes look at a TV series concept that never saw the light of day.

The Transus Incident…

Dear fellow scientists:

We have a situation at the Transus interdimensional facility. Our attempts to open a portal to another dimension have met with catastrophe. The Transus building is gone, with more than ten acres of the forest surrounding it:

We have created a massive breach to a living dimension.

The area has been closed to anyone but authorized personnel, and right now construction crews are working day and night to cap the breach -- but we have an even bigger problem....

Hundreds of creatures have escaped into our world.

Each creature is of a different unknown species, and while some are benevolent, others are hostile and dangerous. Many of these creatures possess physical, or psychic abilities that can effect any human they come in contact with in unpredictable ways. Imagine a creature that can activate the fear or pleasure centers of a human brain at will -- or a creature that grafts itself onto a human being, becoming another appendage.

Imagine the effects these creatures can have on a town, or even just a single household.

The dangers are immense and the possibilities endless.

Also, we have begun to suspect that these creatures are not entirely independent from one another. We believe there is a larger intelligence at work driving them, and we hope to uncover its true intentions, layer by layer. Time is short; we must begin to round up these creatures and deal with them accordingly.

Toward that end; we have assembled a team of five “Trollers.”

This elite team will be the heart of our effort to track these creatures down. We expect them to be able to locate approximately one creature each week.
